audrey’s family life wasn’t the most welcoming either.    she had a father who loved her,    but it was always obvious there was something missing whenever stepping into the jensen home    (    her mother was still in boston for treatments,    that emptiness always so present when audrey was home.   )     spencer made things a bit more bearable for her,   too.        ❝    hey,    we don’t mind it.    i can’t speak for emma,     but i know you’re welcome with ALL of us.  ❞      she rolled her eyes,    letting out a laugh.      ❝   not true.    you’re home here,    spenc.   ❞       though circumstances had been tough,    this all really did bring them together,    even audrey had more friends now than she had before.      ❝    —-   yeah,    don’t remind me,   ❞       she muttered,     shaking her head.       ❝    he’ll calm down.    he always does   —-    eventually.  ❞

❛     just let me know if you ever get sick of me   ,  knowing that i’ll hold you all up to that.    ❜     humour detected in words    ——-     ,   as she knew she must not be such a terrible roommate if they were welcoming with open arms.  still   ,   it was almost as if she had no idea how to react to any human decency or warmness.   there was safety in them   ,   but it was almost stressful not knowing what to do when they were kind to her.   always expecting blame and being shouted at.    although   ,  she thought she was getting better at it.     ❛    yeah   ,  you know believe it or not i actually don’t regret coming here.  even after everything that’s happened.    ❜      even after almost dying and being forever traumatized.     ❛    at least the only fostering we have to worry about is the fact that he is a lightweight
